U.S. Retailer Ross Stores Promotes Adam Orvos To Executive Vice President And CFO


Ross Stores, a US chain of discount department stores, announced that Adam Orvos, currently Group Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Administration, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective October 1, 2021 As CFO, Orvos will report to Michael Hartshorn, Group President and COO.

In his new role, Orvos will be responsible for accounting, treasury, financial planning, tax, corporate social responsibility and investor relations. His 34 years of retail management experience includes the role of CFO for Neiman Marcus, Belk Department Stores and the Foley’s division of The May Department Stores Company. Orvos has also held leadership positions at Lowe’s and Total Wine & More.
