New Digital Collectible Art Gobblers and Keepers Boost NFT Sales 56% This Week – Planet Bitcoin Markets & Prices


Sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have increased significantly over the past seven days, with NFT sales jumping 56.73% from sales recorded the previous week. Over the past seven days, out of 889,499 NFT transactions, the NFT sales volume reached a total of $170.48 million last week.

Art Gobblers and Keepers Collections Drive NFT Sales

NFT sales have been on the rise over the past seven days, with sales volume increasing over 56% to $170.48 million this week. Sales came from 18 different blockchain projects and Ethereum (ETH) captured $139.31 million from the aggregate. Sales of ETH-based NFTs are up 95% week over week.

Thanks to a few new projects that saw outstanding sales last week, such as the NFT Art Gobblers and Keepers projects, NFT’s overall sales increased by 56.73% week-over-week.

While sales of ETH-based NFTs jumped 95%, the second highest number of sales came from sales of Panini-based NFTs, which increased by 74.27%. Ethereum and Panini were trailed by Immutable X and Solana, respectively, in terms of week-over-week percentage increase. However, sales of Polygon-based NFTs fell by 80.66% and sales of Cardano-based NFTs fell by 44.11%.

The top NFT collection this week, in terms of seven-day sales, was Art Gobblers, with the collection generating $51.78 million in total sales. Art Gobblers was followed by the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) $9.45 million and the Keepers Collection $8.57 million. While Art Gobblers was a collection that stood out this week in terms of sales, the Art Blocks collection jumped over 73% this week.

The most expensive NFT was sold four days ago as BAYC #5,979 sold for $339.75,000. BAYC #2,764 came in second as it sold for $297.75,000 six days ago. Cryptopunk #6,869 sold less than 22 hours ago for $179,000 and BAYC #9,270 sold for $149,47,000. Finally, the fifth most expensive NFT sold this week, according to cryptoslam.io stats, was BAYC #2,957 when it sold for $145.74K five days ago.
