Julian is a New Jersey resident, so I picked a trader who often asked his opinion. I’m Donaga Bay, Wine Team Leader at Wayne’s Gary’s Wine & Marketplace. (Owner Gary Fisch owns a wine store in St. Helena, California, and another wine store in New Jersey. His wife owns two other stores in New Jersey.)
Donna (I knew it took too long to call him Mr. Garvey) was a reliable source of discovery under the radar. Today she explained the wine buying experience in an easy to understand way. I told Julian that when I met him near the big cheese section of the store.
