Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s hires 117 workers in Denver area


Applicants who wish to share their passion for the outdoors are encouraged to attend a career fair at Bass Pro and Cabela’s stores.

LONE TREE, Colo .– Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s have announced that they hire 7,000 workers for the peak holiday season, including 117 team members in the Denver area.

Outdoor gear stores will be hosting a National Hiring Day event on Wednesday October 13 and Thursday October 14 for positions in its retail departments.

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s said applicants who wish to share their passion for the outdoors with others are strongly encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates can apply in advance by visiting basspro.com/careers. Walk-in people are also welcome with on-site interviews.

The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s hiring event will take place on Wednesday October 13 and Thursday October 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at three Denver stores:

  • Bass Pro Shops

  • Cabela’s
    14050 Lincoln Street
    Thornton, CO 80023
  • Cabela’s
    10670 Cabela Drive
    Lonely tree, CO 80124

Other hires during the holiday season include Target, Walmart, King Soopers, Macy’s, USPS, and UPS.

Due to the expected annual increase in parcel volume starting in October, UPS said it plans to hire more than 100,000 seasonal workers nationwide. UPS said he aimed to hire 2,455 seasonal workers in Denver.

Target will hire 100,000 seasonal team members at its stores across the country, including 2,400 in Denver. Macy’s announced the hiring of more than 600 employees in Colorado.
