This is part of a plan to redevelop the Monmouth County Mall. The new 59,653-square-foot target will occupy the former spaces of Vingo, China Buffet and Babies ‘R’ Us, according to the report.

Other new tenants at the mall include Total Wine, Chick-fil-A and Sleep number. they join Best buy, Party town, TJ Maxx and Wells fargo, which already occupy the place.

Much like Amazon and Walmart, The target thrives in the midst of the pandemic. Earlier this year, the company announced he would invest $ 4 billion each year for the next few years to remake stores, add new ones and improve delivery times.

There is currently 47 target store locations in New Jersey and 1,914 stores at national scale.
