A Plague Tale: Requiem Guide: All Collectibles
For the continuation of our A Plague Tale: Requiem Guidewe will enumerate all collectibles. There are 4 types of collection for a total of 43 collectibles to find. Our checklists will help you find them all, with descriptions and pictures to outline their exact locations. The collection types are:
- Souvenirs: Interactions with people or the environment, usually a conversation or mini-game. May be indicated by a red ribbon, but should not be relied upon as it is not always present.
- Flowers: Picked up from the ground, but not typical of any particular area. However, they are usually near the main path. Amicia places them in her hair, and you can choose which flower to equip.
- Feathers: Essentially the same as the Flowers, but they appear in the back half of the game. They are always found under a nest in a tree.
- Secret Chests: Well-hidden chests containing lots of supplies and a workbench. You need a knife to unlock them, which is a rare resource in the game.
All types of collectibles can be tracked on the in-game Codex screen, accessed by pressing the touchpad. The main menu will detail the number of collectibles you have found in each chapter. Below are checklists for all collectiblesrevealing when and where you can find them.

A Plague Tale: Requiem Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners
For the last part of our A Plague Tale: Requiem Guidewe will share some tips and tricks for beginners. These will ensure you’re prepared for what awaits Amicia and Hugo, both from the Rat Plague and from living humans during it. Although the game has difficulty settings, these universal tips will help you get the most out of it.
Get the recycling tool first
Workbenches are located in multiple locations throughout most story chapters, allowing you to upgrade your weapons and gear. The Salvage Tool, listed as an instrument in the upgrade menu, should be one of the first you get. This means that if you find an item (jars and bolts, for example) in your inventory, you can turn the resource directly into upgrade materials. It’s not very many, but they all add up and can mean the difference between being able to afford another upgrade on a Workbench or not.
Save your knives
The knives have two uses: an automatic kill and the ability to open a secret chest. However, since they are so rare, we strongly advise against using them for anything other than unlocking secret chests. If you use them during combat, you’ve already gone wrong elsewhere. There’s almost always another way to approach scenarios involving enemies, whether it’s distracting them to create a safe path or having the rats do your dirty work. Save these knives for secret chests to get more upgrades.
It’s normal to get spotted
Amicia has a lot more tools and weapons at its disposal compared to the first game, to the point where getting spotted shouldn’t mean you instantly reload a checkpoint. The crossbow kills most enemies with a single shot, and the larger combat encounters mean you can put some distance between yourself and your enemies so you can switch back to stealth mode. If you’re using too much ammo, pressing restart might be a good idea. However, that’s not something you should rely on anymore: there are a lot more options and abilities you can use this time around.
This concludes our A Plague Tale: Requiem Guide. We hope you find our step-by-step procedure useful, and find all collectibles with the help of our guides. If you have something tips and tricks to share, feel free to post them in the comments below.
